Nicola Cradock
My journey with food began at an early age. Raised on a fourth-generation family farm in Wiltshire, I developed a deep appreciation for the journey from farm to fork, where the connection between land, food, and community is sacred. This upbringing instilled a deep respect for the gifts of nature and a dedication to living sustainably.
My journey has taken me across varied landscapes and experiences. From the tranquillity of farm life to the high seas as a steward on superyachts, I've embraced each adventure with curiosity and open arms.
In addition to my worldly travels, I've explored my creativity through roles as a scenographer and florist, bringing imagination to life through storytelling and design.
I find peace in wild swimming, foraging for ingredients for our pantry, cooking and creating beautiful table arrangements in anticipation of hosting friends & family for dinner.
As co-founder of Ethicurean Life, I intend to share my love for food and community and invite others to embrace a mindful approach to living and eating.

With a career in food that began at the age of fifteen, I've embarked on a journey of exploration that has profoundly shaped my worldview. Food isn't just sustenance; it's the lens through which I perceive, interact with, and understand the world. I am immensely grateful for all that it has taught me.
Having dedicated over 87,000 hours to the culinary arts—whether running a restaurant, writing, foraging, or cooking at home—I've come to believe that our relationship with food extends beyond mere consumption. It can transform our well-being, aspirations, reflections, and intentions.
Moreover, it profoundly influences our connection to the natural world, which sustains us and relies on our support for its preservation.
